How Yomiku handles data for translated private chats.
Yomiku is a private translated chat application. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the app.
Information we process
- Apple Sign In information: Yomiku uses Sign in with Apple to create and authenticate your account.
- Profile information: This may include your display name, selected language, and app preferences.
- Chat and invite data: We process chat invitations, chat membership, message content, timestamps, and message delivery states such as sent, delivered, and read.
- Translation data: Message text may be sent to an AI translation provider to generate translations for the recipient.
- Push notification data: We store device push tokens so Yomiku can send notifications about new messages.
- Subscription data: Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple. Yomiku receives subscription status needed to unlock paid features.
How we use information
- To provide private translated chats.
- To create and accept invitations.
- To translate messages between selected languages.
- To deliver push notifications.
- To manage subscription access and chat limits.
- To improve safety, reliability, and abuse prevention.
AI translation
Messages may be processed by an AI service to provide translations. Translation quality may vary. Do not use Yomiku for emergencies, legal decisions, medical decisions, financial decisions, or other high-risk situations where an incorrect translation could cause harm.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers needed to operate Yomiku, including hosting, push notifications, Apple services, and AI translation services.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions and purchases are managed by Apple through your Apple ID. Yomiku uses subscription status only to unlock paid features and chat limits.
Account deletion
You can delete your account from inside the app. Account deletion is designed to remove your account and related app data from Yomiku systems, subject to technical, security, legal, or fraud-prevention requirements.
Children
Yomiku is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law and App Store rules.
